Post-Paradise[x]

Post Paradise in collaboration with Flatpack Film Festival

"Birmingham is, as ever, in a time of transition. With Paradise Place under rubble – once home of the iconic Brutalist Central Library – some say we’ve paid witness to Paradise Lost and now we enter the next stage: Paradise Regained. No, not us, protest Post-Paradise, the group formed by Conservatoire alumni deep in the bowels of Paradise Circus while it was being ripped from the ground and pummelled into nothingness. Satirically named, they’ve curated a monthly concert series of experimental music and art. Each month composers and artists from near and far come to perform in the heart of Digbeth to showcase the kind of creations you’d be hard-pressed to find anywhere else.

In a special Post-Paradise collaboration with Digbeth First Friday,
artists will perform around the space, exploring its sonic tones and textures from 7-9pm,
and will be accompanied by a new 3-channel set of visuals by artist Duncan Poulton."
